PathToSeat combines official venue guidance with map-based nearby-place data, then turns it into practical comparisons for event-day planning. We separate verified venue instructions from nearby listings so readers can see which details come directly from an official source.
Sources and verification
Official notes identify their source and verification window on the guide. PathToSeat may use automated tools to locate an official venue website and extract candidate bag-policy or entrance text from its public FAQ and visitor-information pages. Automated findings remain unpublished drafts until reviewed; only sourced, reviewed, and unexpired facts receive the verified label. Nearby parking and dining options are derived from OpenStreetMap and other attributed providers shown on the page. Operator-controlled details such as event pricing, capacity, hours, reservations, and event-specific entry rules can change without notice, so guides tell readers what to reconfirm.
Walking-time comparisons
Walk times are planning estimates based on available location data. They are not a promise of a particular accessible route, entrance opening, sidewalk condition, or security perimeter on event night.
Freshness and corrections
Nearby datasets refresh periodically, while verified facts carry their own review dates and expiration windows. The automated research queue revisits successful official sources periodically and retries sources it could not process, but a revisit does not automatically overwrite verified guidance. Every guide includes a correction form. Reports and newly extracted candidates are reviewed against authoritative sources before verified guidance is changed.
